The way you are talking I'm starting to think you will not buy next year and will end up like Crashy spending more in rent than you would have done on mortgage.

To be quite honest I don't care what happens to prices especially in London as I don't live there and have no intention of moving there. I hope if you do buy next year you don't have to pay more than you would have in April.

Let me just check the deeds to my house... yep, you're wrong.

Why not just stop paying your rent to the bank then?

Why would he do that so he could go and pay more in rent to a landlord.

No, so that he could prove that he owns his house.

The proof of who owns a house is on in the Land Registry records and I can assure you it will not be the bank.

Why does he need to prove what (nearly) everyone already knows?

It was very nice of the bank to give me my £300k house when I paid of the £45k I borrowed from them.

I meant everyone except you and bubble actually. The bank already know they don't own my house.
