'We've reached a tipping point' Signs of house price weakness

I have only started looking to buy for about year and then stopped due to ridiculous prices.0

Which bit of "passed it up the chain" do you not understand? You need to lose your mental caricature of me as a 40 year old who lives in my parents' box room.....
Perhaps you've just been less than clear?
It would sort of imply you were making things up about buying back in if there was a 35% fall and you've bought a another house instead. As you will see elsewhere on the forum...

As stated previously I want the prices to drop to last years prices.0

Perhaps you've been quick to judge....
Please show me where I have ever said anything about "buying back in if there was a 35% fall"?
I only have one username. It's the "homeowners start to panic thread". (Difficult to post link as on mobile phone as bt Internet is down round my way)0 -

Judging by the news coming out, you would be taking a big risk waiting for those sorts of drops. You have to look at the past for an indication of the future. As others have pointed out we had an utterly batshirt mental mortgage market with over a decade of a worldwide credit orgy to get a 20% drop where you want to buy.
What driver do you see for something similar happening?0 -
I meant 2012. I will wait. I have more "equity" in my bank account than most of you have in your homes. Maybe even put together!0
