I think I`m doing more than okay on here so far, don`t you? Why not pop over to HPC and see how you get on?

Little FYI - You are not doing well here.

As far as I can see people are posting price reductions they're seeing on Rightmove nothing about what a good buy in point might be.

If the HPC strategy is to never buy but keep the rent to a minimum then say so but I think most people on HPC see the end game as picking up a house as cheaply as possible.

Admit it - you're scared to death to even imply you'd ever buy in.

You must know that if I shared my calculations showing I'd saved substantial sums of money by buying rather than renting (with or without HPI) there would be accusations about me being a estate agent, a BTL or ramper and I'd be banned immediately.

I bet BS Bruce Banner isn't very happy about you even linking this thread to be honest so I'd tread carefully.

Wow! Surely you can't be serious? You make Eddie the eagle look like a serious contender.

I`m clocking off now chaps, everything I need to state about my rental costs has been stated, and the thread should return to debating "Are we at a tipping point" IMO. I will look forward to dropping over as the crash develops. Toodle Pip.

Good time for you to walk away Crashy. Enjoy paying rent each and every month.

I've got all your rent payments details locked in - for future reference.

You have paid 81k rent, live in a HMO, own 0% equity of any property, are 50+ years old and have the financial knowledge of a 2 1/2 year old.

Cant wait to see you back. :hello:

You think anyone buying is a fool so it's not as you're concerned about buyers getting a better price. You already live in an HMO so your rent's hardly likely to get any cheaper and you don't want to buy yourself either. Don't really know why you're bothered.

I'm sure it'll give you immense pleasure to pop back if prices fall but it'll just be pointed out (again) that every month you spend on planet crash has cost you another few hundreds pounds in rent.

    What's brought??

Renters aren't dirty either. Just crashy, that's because he lives in a dodgy HMO where they're all swinging in the bathroom. He could of bought his own flat twice over. Instead he's bought it (as a gift if you will) for his LL.
