How is it a fiddle to lock the door manually?
Doesnt the whole handle just push in?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Many moons ago I had a ford escort whose doors would malfunction (ah ford and their central locking), would take off door card take the mechanism apart, clean and rebuild. A bent paperclip was needed at one point to force a pin back into place but other than that it became a ten minute job whenever it screwed up.
If I were you I'd look for a schematic of the mechanism and just take it apart (provided of course you have tools, time and patience).
