Have to agree that is way too cheap! We would be charging about £2500 inc vat for a Worcester green star 30si with 8yr warranty with a standard through the wall flue - vertical through the roof flue would be more.
Make sure the following is included in the quote
Removal of dwh cylinder and old boiler - you don't want to be left with these.
Upgrade system to part L if it does not comply (room stat and TRV's in bedrooms as a min)
Power flush
Worcester system filter or Debris Strainer
Scale reducer
Gas is ok at 22mm
Building control notification
If you really want a. Worcester phone them up or go on their website where you will be able to find Accreddited installers in your area. The min warranty on their boilers is 5yrs, but depending on the installer this can increase e.g we can give 8yrs0
