If you look on the mega index I am sure there is a recipe for Jam Crumbly made in the micro and also a flapjack recipe.

I just want to say that the everyday biscuits are wonderful. I usually make chocolate ones and OH loves them. He is always wanting me to make them, if I make a whole batch they only last a day or so.

I would recommend them to every biscuit lover.

I make shortbread (though I don't think it's technically shortbread proper) which tastes amazing, and works out at roughly 60-70p a batch. Can't remember exact measures, but it uses flour, caster sugar, butter, rice flour. Makes two very large ones, or about 20 biscuit-sized biscuits. I have found that you can taste if it's not fresh butter though :( Has to be butter and not that bizarre mixed stuff, but Value butter is still butter. Light, airy and crisp, and get cheered at work when I bring in a box for morning tea! Certainly not Value brand though ;)

I've got a feeling pennineman said he makes flapjacks in the microwave.

Twinks - can you free any of the mixture? There is only two in my flat and one is on a diet, so it's up to me to eat everything I bake.

Why would you want to free them? There very bad for you and need to be under lock and key. :D

I'm sure you can freeze them though. ;) I think someone said they cooked them first and then froze. But I would think freezing the dough would be ok too. If you get sick let us know. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
