Any suggestions of how I can add to the photos? Would it be ok to make up a photo containing the account name and 'see my other listings' that type of thing? It would be a real waste of time taking multi photos of the same thing so I'm just trying to find a way around it.
 TIA
All photos must comply with picture standards, so photos with user names etc would not be allowed. Just add 3 near identical photos.i thought all photos ( upto 12 ) were free
They are, this is about the 3 photo minimum some people have for this weekends free listing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. They are.
there seems to be 2 offers on at the same time..
 1) http://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/1836/
Create up to 100 listing(s) in addition to any other free listings you are eligible for in an eligible category during the promotion period using the auction-style or fixed price format and you won't pay an insertion fee for each listing during the promotion period.
 2) http://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/1918/
You can create up to 100 listing(s) with at least 3 photos in an eligible category during the promotion period without paying an insertion fee for these listings. This applies to both auction-style and fixed price listing formats.
The cynic in me thinks having two very similar offers on will catch a few sellers out and it will also reduce the number of listings used due to the extra time of having to take & upload any extra photos
Why run two very similar offers at the same time, is ebay taking lessons in confusing people from the energy companys 0 0

I'm guessing that ebay are experimenting & trying to attract more interest in their listings, as their completed sales figures have obviously dropped thru the floor...
call me cynical, but I'm thinking that their next seller update will be along the lines of:- but I'm thinking that their next seller update will be along the lines of:-
"reach out to your buyers and include at least 3 pics... failure to do so will be a defect.." :eek:0

I thought I might include a photo of my dog wearing glasses on the 3rd picture if I have nothing to photograph. :rotfl:
On a more serious note, not good timing as I suddenly realised we are away from Sunday til Thursday next week. I might try a 10 day listing if that is free. Never done one and know it used to cost 10p tho.0

I have always done 10 day listings and not been charged anything.0

I have the three photo free listings so will do some tonight. I rarely list with fewer than three photos anyway, selling clothing and usually need at least 3 (front, back, tag).
Using the mobile app so its very very easy to add lots and lots of photos.
and for the person who asked whats in it for eBay, more photos usually gives a better more detailed listing that is more likely to sell for a higher price (ie if I can't see the condition clearly I will only bid a low price). Higher selling prices give more fee money to eBay.0

Could that be because you had listed items without the 3 photos? Whenever there is free listing and if I still have my normal 20 allowance unused, it takes off first from the 100 free weekend listing and then from the monthly allowance. Even this weekend I still have the full 20 untouched and all the listings have come off from the free 100 with 3 photos.0
