I would mention it to the police so its at least on record. Even if nothing is done about it, at least if something happens in the future there is a trail. this is not a neighbour dispute so chances are would not be needed to be declared. If you get asked a question worded in such a way that you think it may need to be declared, speak to the solicitor first and they will advise you if needed.
Its probably unlikely that they will return after being disturbed and challenged, or the particular car maybe of interest to the police anyway and a trail may help with investigations.0 -

This is what I would do. They may well not be able to pursue it further (and your wife may not want to give a formal statement etc either) but if you log it it is on record if this specific person behaves in a asimilar way in future. The police may be able to speak to him informally even if they don;t feel that they enough evidence to take more formal steps. (I once reported to the police about some very aggressive driving by a HGV driver - they did go to speak to him and according to what they told me afterwards, he was quite shaken to have the police show up on his doorstep - hopefully it made him think twice before behaving the same way in future. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
I had thought about installing parking posts for each space but that seemed an overkill and maybe bought more unwanted attention to the house.
For the sake of less than £60 each, I'd do it.
The only people that park on my drive other than us is my neighbour (with permission) and visitors. If there's noone visiting you when the vehicles are being parked there, why should they be allowed to?
