Don't know if they've improved recently, but lots of giffgaff users were suffering from very poor internet. If that part is important you can browse their community posts for details. You could try a sim from them, I suppose, and see how it goes. I would advise trying before you go to the bother of porting your number to them...
Oh, and plenty of posts on "unlimited" data too - where it isn't quite what it seems!0 -
I have the 1Gb goodybag and find it more than meets my needs, rarely have connection problems but then I'm usually in city/ urban areas. My son has unlimited goodybag as he watches films etc and he's not mentioned any problems.
As MikeWhilte suggests maybe get a sim and try it for a month (its not a 12 month contract, just a 1 month goodybag but you can set up a recurring DD so there is always another goodybag at the end of one).Originally Posted by shortcrust

Giffgaff is alright, but their data is !!!! poor.
However, given it's PAYG, you can try it for a month and if you're not happy, then move elsewhere.
If data speeds are important, then go with Three.0 -
Shame I missed this.
Already on a great deal but could have got an extra 250 mins for the same price.0
