BT Broadband & Line Rental Under £16 p/m

For those interested, I have just signed up to BT Broadband (Mainly for the sport app) and have got a deal to under £16 per month for 12 months.

12 Month Contract

Line Rental £159.90
(12 months for the price of 10 if paid up front)
BB £90
(£7.50 per month for 12 months)
Delivery £6.95

£256.85

Less
TopCashBack £40.4
Sainsbury Voucher £25

£65.4

£191.45
£15.95 per month.

I know the Sainsburys voucher doesn't really count unless you shop at Sainsburys but all the same :)

The EE offer in the 16th July MSE E-mail:

Analysis: Pay line rent upfront, then broadband monthly, and it's £162 for the year, excl calls: equiv £13.50/mth. If you pay line rent monthly, it's £219 - equiv £18.25/mth. Of course, there's also the £120 Amazon voucher. If you'd spend that anyway, factor it in and it's effectively £42 over the year, equiv £3.50/mth. Paid monthly, it's effectively £99/yr or equiv £8.25/mth. If you need a new line, installation's another £60.

Assuming the £120 Amazon voucher actually turns up, it's a better deal.

Unfortunately I am still in contract, so couldn't grab it.

Yes that was a good deal but I wanted the BT Sport and ESPN channels.

How did you get a 12 months contract with BT? The minimum term for BT broadband is 18 months.

It would be useful to say how you went about it, please.
  • Simply request MAC code if out of contract :)
