Hi I've bought a cheap iRulu tablet for my OH's birthday (SS has one and loves it). How do I connect this to our tv? The tablet has either a mini or micro USB port (manual not clear), and I got a USB on the go cable with it. I know I need an HDMI cable but can anyone help please? Not had a chance to investigate it properly as OH has been about and don't want to spoil surprise for his birthday! I emailed the company and they said use chrome cast but I know of other people with other makes of tablets that have some sort of cable. Please help as would need to order the cable today for it to arrive in time.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

the best way personally is chromecast . If you have no hdmi its the only way £30 from the play store you will need a hdmi in the tv though0

Google seems to show this has a mini-hdmi port but there also seem to be various models so they may differ... Mini HDMI cable example - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDMI-to-Mini-HDMI-HDTV-Type-C-1080P-Lead-Gold-Connector-1M-1-5M-1-8M-2M-3M-5M-/161366295574?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item25922e44160

You cant just use a cable this model doesn't have any form video out. Chrome cast is your best bet in this case.0 -
Overall a mini or micro USB to HDMI cable might work. Try ebay or Amazon0

Womble its so that OH can use it with DSLR. If he transfers pictures he can then connect this to the tv for a larger pictureCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. And how was he going to transfer pics from DSLR to tablet?0

Isn't it simpler to get a cable to connect DSLR to TV?
If you must do it via the tablet then I would get a Chromecast, if you have any tesco club card vouchers you can get one for £15 of vouchers right now.0
