Its a !!!!!! when the resin starts to go off too quick
Yes, I've only done 2 major jobs in GRP both at extremes, the 1st in the middle of the coldest March on record, 2012, when it was taking about 8 hours for the resin to start to tack with max activator.
The other was the one I mentioned this May in the record temps for that time of year. Your are right, with the min amount of catalyst the set time was around 10 mins, from liquid to solid in about 30 secs, no warning:eek::eek:
It's tricky, but, it's does a dam good job and Is cost effective against rubber or felt.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Wow that is a steep price! We paid half that for 40m2 flat roof GRP. This included them putting the isulation on (120 mm celotex) and two layers of 18mm OSB3 board to be laid on top of insulation and then putting on the fibre glass.
Hope that helps"I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0 -
