Feeling quite pleased with myself. Rang up the cancellations/ retentions team to see what we could do. Said I would be happy to 'sign' for another 12 months and I got free unlimited broadband. Not bad for a days work.
NRR just feeling a bit smug :-)

Do you have Sky tv and, if not, is that free broadband plus a £2.50 supplement for not having tv ?0

I recently cancelled sky sports and was asked to fill in a quite lengthy questionnaire detailing my reasons for doing so. It was clear from the questions that BT Broadbands' offer of free BT Sports for their customers is a big issue for Sky.
Sky appear to be trying now to tempt as many people as possible for their broadband with free and reduced offers. Your scalp is one less for the sworn enemy BT.
If you want sports channels now then you have to go to sky (or pay BT) If you dont care about the sports channels then it is all good. You made the bid at the right time.0 -
If you get sky sports you get 2 years frr broadband with the launch on the new sports channel anyway0
