3 Handset Compatability

Help needed please -

I'm on 3 talk & text 600 contract with an LG8120 handset, but have dropped the handset & broken the arieal. The sim card isn't useable in a non-3 phone & I expect it'll be an expensive performance to replace/repair the handset.

Simple question then if I get a 3pay as you go phone from woolies for £34 & put my current sim card in (instead of the payg) will it work ok, logically it should, or are 3 likely to block the sim ??

I have a 3 pa as you go and a one year contract phone - the sim cards are interchangeable. They are both NEC phones - but I don't think it matters as lomg as the phone is 3 G and is either locked to the 3 network if your SIM is 3, or is unlocked.

Easy Question.

I joined 3 when it first came out and their handsets were rubbish, I was one of the first few to buy the NEC 616 and realised these were absolutely crap and EBayed them, further on buying the 7600s. These phones are OKAY but the best one I've used so far is the Nokia 3220 - when fully unlocked can take 3G SIMs. Also, the Samsung E700 can also take 3G Sims, I've never used that one myself but it works.

And to answer YOUR question, 3Pay phones will work fine for 3 contract customers.
