but Saturday's evening news went too far on the plane crash. The poor relatives don't need to see the hand of a man still strapped in his seat or the small shroud of a toddler. We all know that falling from 10,000m is likely to have pretty bad results on the human body. Pictures of the crash are enough to set the scene without this level of detail. Shame on the BBC for this.

I didn't see those pictures, i have seen them saying the usual thing in any of disasters ........... 'We can't show photos of things that are all around us'
I wonder is this a change with all the news channels to try and outdo the others.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Sky news guy started putting items out of crash victim's bag live on air.
I would count that just as bad.0 -
And yet were you to live in a warzone you might see this kind o thing whilst walking to work/the shop etc
Brits have been mollycoddled0 -
But we don't, so why do we have to see it all?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

And as we are not in a warzone and walking past bodies at regular intervals, then a bit of respect for the dignity of the dead and the feelings of the bereaved wouldn't go amiss. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

People who live in the warzones don't want to see this sort of thing either - your suggestion that these images should be broadcast on TV just because people see them live is just ridiculous.0 -

I'd think that the family & friends of the 10(?) Brits that died are quite capable of making that decision themselves and/or complaining to the BBC themselves0 -

The Sky reporter has had to say he was sorry.

I'm afraid to say that television has just about reached the bottom as far as good taste goes, not only this which sounds like an utter disgrace as I never saw it myself, but shows which revel in showing feces human and animal at any time of day. The BBC showed a good nature programme about tigers of course the trackers use the tigers feces to predict what the animal is eating and how long it has been since it passed the scene that is to be accepted however the camera pondering on the vision of tiger dung for two minutes for no apparent reason is beyond understanding. Also programmes about inconsiderate dog owners or nuisance neighbours where a dogs droppings are involved does the camera have to show us the droppings in their full detail after all I'm sure we have all witnessed the sight before and don't need to see it again? This has even shown up on Phil and Kirstie's property show, I know what dog poo looks like I don't need to see it at tea time! Disgusting bodies or whatever it's called, I don't watch it because I don't want to see peoples disgusting bodies however the programme makers are determine that I see them in the trailers of the show. Meal times in my house certain programmes are banned and that includes you've been framed yes they even manage to get snot, poo and sick into that for our entertainment!0
