Uneven tyre wear - suspension?

Have something similar on the old merc, going to start by replacing an upper suspension arm (it's got 2 bushes and a ball joint in it, my MOT guy said on full lock one way there had been a bit of play).
Then I'll get the tracking checked.0 -
Merc Scotsman? very often its dry bottom ball joints (ooer missus), unless you happen to own one of the odd models with welded in unobtanium bottom swivels...ask me how i know this, grrr....new replaceable genuine MB bottom joints for many models are less than £15 apiece.0

I'm with Colino
Sounds like a coil spring.
Though by far the most common cause of uneven tyre wear is lack of proper geometry adjustment.
And reliance on a basic wheel alignment.
I would get the car to a garage with Hunter or similar equipment for a geometry check, usually free, and if the coil is broken hopefully they will spot it.
Though on some cars you can't see the break if it is the bottom coil due to the design.0 -

Might be worth changing the lot just to save the possibility of ruining another tyre.0
