Samsung u600 Problem

I bought a Samsung u600 last weekend. I am having problems with the music player.

The problem I have having is that some song clips are playing for their full length, but others are stopping a few seconds (about 10) before they are finished.

Is their something I need to change in the settings or is the problem with the phone?

are you sure the files aren't 10 seconds long?

if not, the files may be corrupt so re transfer them to the phone

They are 1 to 8 minutes long. I'll try and re transfer them to the phone. Some play their full length, others don't.

Have tried re transfering. Still have the same problem. Even the track that was pre loaded by samsung cuts off 10 secs before it finishes.

I have one of these. I'm now on my second - the first one had a faulty microphone. The new one has a habit of freezing whenever I try to type a text message, and randomly switching itself on and off again.

sounds like a software issue to me

My dad has one of these and has the same problem, it plays on his D500 and on my D900 but stops a couple of seconds near the end on the U600
