Good luck on your journey Tiggy10. I am also a yo-yo saver and trying to improve my habits, particularly when it comes to spending money on things to use at school...last year's class had great use of things purchased especially for activities in class...I'm sure my IKEA leaf and circus tent will be useful again! As will all the books I have bought!

    Enjoy the holidays :-)

Penguins, I know what you mean. I have a whole wish list on amazon dedicated to school stuff I "need"! Now amazon has been unblocked on the school network I tend to find and odd purchase or two occurs during PPA. :/

    Enjoy your holidays too! :)

    Thanks David and Olivia-Louise!
So after paying the extra to clear my CC I found I have £50 per week to live off.

I have already spent my weekly allowance for this week - which on the surface does not look good.
I spent 12.56 in the big M supermarket - using the my supermarket app my shopping was cheaper and I took advantage of the 2 hours free parking to go into town - a 3 minute walk.

    £10 fuel

I spent 5.32 in boots - for only the toiletries that were cheaper than Mr.M and got points. with a £1 purchase from the clearance section - a sample of the bumble and bumble thickening spray. its about £20 full size!!

Finally 22.12 for a meal out with OH - we take it in turn to do date night. it was my turn. tbh that's quite cheap for the two of us.

so for the next 6 days I have NSD's. Which shouldn't be a problem as the only plans I have is the dentist - money budgeted outside of weekly allowance.
And a trip to Ikea with my mum tomorrow- shes taking me to get a chest of drawers I want and treating me as its my birthday next week.

    I can do this! :)

So I got my new chest of drawers from Ikea yesterday - the clothing declutter has begun. All free as a gift from my mum.
Shes going back today to grab me another set - which I am going to pay for but the money will be cancelled out when I sell the old chest of drawers - will be listing these on the local selling FB selling site today. so £0 spent.

After getting my free Krispy Kreme in town - I received another email offering me another for my birthday next week! :)

Today I will mostly be continuing to declutter clothes - possibly list a few on the bay of e with free listings.

    working on NSD 3/6 :)

    Great Sunday so far:
OH treated me to breakfast at our local chain greasy spoon.
My mum salvaged me a free energy efficient electric heater - great for winter as our storage heaters chew up our electric - doesn't help we are stuck on a PAYG meter. So im hoping this will really help when it gets colder here!
Mum also picked up my second chest of drawers with her OH in his van. I built the first set all by myself - proud moment.

Did borrow £5 from next weeks budget - very naughty. however in my defence I was in our local Mr t express as my bro wanted some smokes. and they had 3 packs of large chicken breasts reduced from £3 to £1. As we would need meat next week it actually lessens the expense come next weeks budget.

Not an NSD but Im slowly working with this new weekly cash system I set myself up on. I also use a free app to log my spends so I know come Thursday I am going to remember I have used the money!

hope all is well with everyone! :)

Received £13.50 of Tesco points vouchers in the post today.
I was going to trade these up for a nice meal or day out, however Tesco wont send these type of vouchers to my flat. >:(

So I used them to buy more food and satisfy my urge for shopping during these NSD's. Drove a bit further to the next Tesco - 5 miles instead of 1 mile as the local one charges a pound for parking.

Going to the dentist later - £18.50 budgeted for.
Need to clean the kitchen *sigh*

No energy today to be productive. had a bit of a bug yesterday. Typically I only get ill in the holidays! haha

Hope everyones having a great day!
