Summer Reading

Flight delay claims have clearly now reached a bit of a hiatus, as we wait to see what happens in the Supreme Court in the two key cases of Huzar and Dawson.

Everyone who has a claim, or wants to start a claim themselves, needs to understand the bare bones of these two cases, and so I recommend this little factual analysis by a law firm, which explains both cases reasonably straightforwardly:

In the meantime, unless the anniversary of your flight is approaching the six year point (when your claim effectively falls away unless you have started legal action), I would try and be patient and simply await the Supreme Court's response to these two cases. I'm sure folk will update here once there is news.

As such, I'm going to be taking a break from here for a while. I'll check back in once we have news from the Supreme Court.

Happy (delay-free) holidays to one and all!
