Tesco 0% purchases credit card reset

Hi all,
I am hoping you can help with this. I am wondering if there is a way to renew the 0% period on a Tesco 0% purchases credit card.
I am an existing card holder and the 0% period expired a while back. I am currently using it for any Tesco purchases for the points (paying off in full each month), and using a 0% Santander for most other purchases.
I would like to be able to reapply and get another 0% Tesco card, however I imagine I can't do that while having an existing card. Is there an easier way than cancelling and then reapplying? Will that even work or is there a long cool off period?
I have been looking into it but can't find any hard facts.
If anyone has any guidance on this it would be very much appreciated.
Cheers!

I think the cancelling route may be the only way but that's not guaranteed to succeed. In my experience, Tesco are woeful at repeat offers. I only keep mine because of Clubcard boost.0

Tesco do offer existing customers balance transfer offers however think you would have to wait a while if your offer has ended recently. You can close your a/c but you have to wait 6 months before you can re-apply0

I am not sure how accurate this is, but I have a note on my files that the minimum period from closing for Tesco CC is 18 months.0

Cheers guys, not looking too promising then.0

No harm in calling them to ask.
I recently got offered 14 months at 0% for balance transfers on my existing Tesco card. The offer didn't say anything about purchases, but if you don't ask you won't know.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
