It's still not available on my account. I have the "saving energy" tab, next to it "electricity" tab, but nothing for FIT.

We were putting this through in batches but I thought most were on now.

You should've received an email about how to activate it. Could've gone into your spam folder. I know this has happened to a few customers.

I've just spoken with our online guys and the process has changed in the last few days. Sorry, I wasn't aware of this until the last few minutes.

Now, if you register your FIT account number with the same password and email address as your electricity account, you'll go through to an 'Account Selector' screen.

From here, there's a drop down box where you can choose to view either your FIT or electricity account.

So do I have to do something? Register my FIT account number where?

I get my emails from Eon fine, I've had one saying a meter reader is calling soon this very week. Nothing from eon in spam.

Really sorry for the late reply Andy. Just noticed your question.

You can register your FIT account now. Please go to our website and register with the same email address and password used on your conventional energy account.

When you log in, enter your email address as your User ID followed by your password. You'll then have the option of choosing to view the FIT or the usual energy account.

At the moment, though, you can't switch between the two. To go from one account to another you'll need to log out and then log back in again.

Also, the FIT account has a gas icon showing next to it. This is clearly wrong and has been raised with our IT guys. It'll disappear in the not too distant future.

Thanks Malc. Nothing I do can make the website recognise my FIT account though.

Hi Andy

Sorry you're struggling with this. Just a thought, but make sure you aren't entering the original FIT number. This won't work.

You need the actual FIT account number. This will be on the correspondence we send you.

If you're still struggling, have a chat with our online specialists. They'll soon talk you through it. They're here until 6pm tonight and from 8am to 4pm tomorrow.

Alternatively, you can use the 'contact us' form if you prefer. If you select 'Managing My Account Online,' the form will be picked up by this team.
