Anti thread of the year to date..
I would say £1 instead of £2.99 is a good saving. This is MSE, I wouldn't be a very good 'money saver' if I was willingly paying more than I have to!0 -
£1 is expensive, around 50p for 2 in Halfords .............. with a trade card

I didn't realise the question was serious, OK then, if its a standard common bulb, get onto ebay or ask your local factor for a price for a box of 10 or 12 of the bulb in question...don't bother with cheap unheard of tat they will probably last days, buy a named brand like Osram Philips etc.
I have a stock of virtually every bulb i could ever need in my garage, invariably bought 10 or more at a time for about the price of two.0 -

Also, just changing one bulb is silly, change them in pairs so they are equal brightness. You see cars with headlights of different brightness and it just looks cheap and tacky.
....
As this is an indicator bulb what is the point of changing both? The only time both rear or both front indicator lights will be used at the same time is if the hazard warning function is being used. And that is most unlikely unless you are one of the people that use them incorrectly when parking illegally, etc.0 -
