Thanks that sounds better than mine. Will do that.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update to say that I have received a VERY apologetic letter from UKPC cancelling the ticket!
So pleased, I don't think I could have done it without this forum so thank you to everyone who contributes and helps.
If anyone else has problems at this location or with UKPC don't be afraid to challenge them.

Well done!
So was it the 'gesture of goodwill' or 'administrative error' one from UKPC?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Neither, I think?
Its says,
'Thank you for your recent correspondence in relation to the above parking charge. We understand your frustration and appreciate the inconvenience this has caused you. It is not out intention to cause undue worry and frustration when enforcing our clients parking regulations.
We have investigated the appeal based on the information submitted by yourself and can confirm in this instance that the parking charge has been cancelled.
We strive to deliver a high quality service that enhances the existing quality standards insisted upon by our client and ensure out Wardens are stringently trained to meet these expected standards.
On behalf of ourselves and our client we apologise for any inconvenience.'
Pretty made up with that - small things make me happy lol.0 -

Made up with the outcome yes, but not with that computerised letter because they haven't written specially to say sorry to you! Try searching the forum for an unusual keyword in the letter = 'undue worry' or maybe 'goodwill UKPC' as keywords (changing the default search to 'show posts' instead of show threads) find loads of examples of UKPC's excuses!
They aren't very imaginative but at least they have the sense to throw in the towel when they see a person has found this forum.
