you get a sample of the primer in any of the pallettes you buy too.0

I have both the Naked 1 and Basics palette. They do bundles for the 2 on sites such as Look Fantastic. I do prefer the Naked 1 but the Basics palette tends to get a lot more use as they are all matte colours and perfect for during the day. They are definitely an investment worth making! I also have the MUA dupes which are good but when you have used both you can tell the difference in quality.0

Ooh, is the primer worth it too? I use a Revlon one which seems to do the job (I have really oily skin so no eyeshadow base = everything in the crease by 11am), but I've never tried an expensive one to compare.
I'm really glad a lot of you have said the palettes are worth the money, I can't wait to get to the shops tomorrow and test them!!
Have fun! I think if you look at the price on a price per use basis they are a bargain. I have had them for about a year and really haven't used any other shadows during that time. I always use clean brushes and wash my hands so the palette should hopefully last until I hit pan.0 -
I have had 1 for a couple of years, and recently got 3 as a gift. Love them! Great quality, countless different looks, worth the money as they come with a good quality brush (costs over £10 to buy alone I think) and primer or gloss sample.
I am NW20 in MAC / cool tones / pale pink-toned skin and 1 works the best for me. Don't think I'd use 2 as grey tones make me look ill/tired.0 -
Two of the best palettes I've ever had are Bare Minerals and Soap and Glory. Got them both as presents so not sure on cost but the colours, especially in the S&G one are so diverse but complementing. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

If youre looking for a cheaper alternative try the Coastal Scents Revealed palette, there are links all over the web to point out dupes for the naked and naked 2 palette.
The palette is twice the size and is £19.99 on amazon.Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -
I say go for it op. I agree it is an expensive outlay, £37 for an eye shadow palette does sound shocking, but they are so worth it. I got my Naked 1 in 2012 and it is still going strong, I haven't bought a single individual shadow since, because honestly all the colours I need are in the palette. I got the naked 3 palette as a Christmas gift this year, I prefer the naked 1 BUT still think I will get plenty of use out of both.
I have also got the eye shadow potion primer by Urban Decay and I do think it works to an extent, but even without it I find the eye shadows hold up really well and never crease on me. I just checked the website and they do a travel size of the eye primer for £8.00 so that could be worth a try if they don't have any samples of it.
Hope this helps.0 -
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the replies, your feedback has been fab. So I've just got back from my lunch break and..... I've bought Naked 3!! I did look into some of the dupes but I wasn't as keen on them and at the moment I have the money so I thought I would invest. The lady on the counter in Debenhams was a great help, even better, I bought the mini version of the primer and they had 10% off when you buy two items so both came to £40.50!
I had a sneaky peek in the box too and there's samples of all 4 of the eyeshadow primers so I think it's well worth the investment. Dying to get home now and try them all out now
Thanks again ladies, this forum is fab for advice and tips!0
