    Can you get a letter from the two credit cards confirming zero balance on them? This may help too since it's clear that the Experian file hasn't been updated to the new totals yet. Obviously things are looking a lot brighter now but I wondered if that would add extra weight.

    I am being told by both L&C and Nationwide that it should get approved now. It was the doubling of my credit card and monthly loan commitments that caused it to fail the affordability test.

    Good to read. Assuming that happens do check that your mortgage contract ends up being correct. It took four tries before mine was, with a different lender.
