Survived the shopping trip. One item found online from Matalan, no sign in the shop, very little choice, maybe because their sale starts 5 pm Saturday, to match with Next. Then tried for some jelly shoes from Sports Direct found online - again no stock, and stores wonder why we buy on line. We got one vest type top and a summer jumper, wish Primark had an out of town shop here, and we might have visited that. McD's for lunch, her choice, went into £land and got her some stationery bits for school next year, and spent the rest of her £20 on some bits for the girly day she is having at home with some friends for her birthday.. I have raided my cosmetic drawer(s) and found some more bits for her, which I cannot be bothered using now. She is very easily pleased, I took her the soft rollers, and hair crocodile clips I had bought for when my hair was long, no intension of going long again, so had a clear out. Her face lit up, she was so excited about them. They are coming for a birthday BBQ tomorrow, as a bit of a party. Nite all. DG
