Morning all
It's lovely and cool here at the moment thanks to the rain we had during the night. Fingers crossed it does warm up as I have uniforms to wash and put away. Hopefully some of it will do come September but I will need to start looking at buying new items. They will all need shoes as well but I will leave those until almost the last minute.
I like Friday's as it's chip shop night so that makes things easier for me. M.I.L will be here tonight but she quite likes a piece of fish so I don't have to cater separately.
I have an appointment at the dentist this afternoon as I cracked a tooth and some of it is missing. It hurts a bit but not too much so I thought I would get it sorted before it becomes a bigger problem. Can't say I'm keen on dentists though.
Have a good day all and hope appointments / results etc all go ok2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -

I've just logged a report and hopefully it will be collected otherwise they will be overflowing next week and then they won't take them for that reason. Nothing wrong with today's collection they just didn't pick it up :mad:2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -
Morning all
Its feeling very hot, sticky and thundery here today, hopefully it will hold off till I've cleaned the chickens out.
I thought that DS broke up from school on Wednesday next week so the plan was to take DS up town and let him pick a gift for his teacher, well last night I happened to look on the school website to see when he breaks up in October and I noticed that today was the last day of term, the 21st, 22 & 23rd being listed as inset days, this was 8:30 last night.. Eeeek!! so DS had a late bedtime whilst we baked cookies and wrapped them in cellophane, He made him a card and wrote a lovely little letter listing everything the teacher has done for him and telling him how much he will be missed ( the teacher is leaving the school) and made him a loom band, I was so proud of what he wrote and glad we got the dates wrong now as I think those few home made bits we made last night will mean much more to his teacher.
Anyway, The housework is all done, the animal courier has just been and collected 2 of our bunnies who will be going to a new home in Ireland, just going to do the school run then I shall be spending the day, cleaning the chickens out and doing the ironing as the pile is taking over the dining table!
Tea tonight is wedges, steak and salad.
Hope you all have a lovely day xG.C July £21.09/£1000 -

Good luck. God spring cleaned here during the night. Despite having all the windows open, I only remember it vaguely.
Morning all,
Weather seems a little cooler this morning though I don't expect it to last long.
Hubby has his stitches out this morning but he's not awake yet. His appointment is 11.30. I'll give him half an hour and i'll go and wake him up. We are still sleeping separately at the moment as he cant get his leg comfortable in bed. No moans from me, I get the whole of the bed to myself to spread out in.
I'll do the housework whilst he has gone. I usually go with him to the hospital when he has check ups on his kidneys or at the stroke clinic but he's happy to go on his own for stuff not as serious.
Loads of washing to be done but I'm debating as to whether I can face the walk to and from Moms in this heat. We'll see.
Not thought about tea yet, i'll decide later.
The girls in South Africa are celebrating Nelson Mandella day. Its proving quite popular in the Baby House.
Onwards and forwards (melting in the heat)

Morning all,
Very windy and changeable here, one minute rain the next sunshine.
I've just been on to Tesco to reset my clubcard account, can't for the life of me remember my password:o anyway also asked them to put me into the Christmas saver account as I'm going to save any vouchers for my Christmas shop.
In other OS news I have a pair of old sketchers at the back door that I slip on to go into the garden, peg out etc. they came unglued last weekend. Bearing in mind they were my dads before me and I've had hem around 7 yrs. anyway a bit of superglue and they are fine:T
My dd and her bf thoroughly enjoyed their chicken salad. He is such a big guy 6 ft 4 and as wide as a barn door. Anyway not enough chicken left to make the curry I had planned tonight. As my dad would say, I'd rather feed him for a week than a fortnight:eek:
Glad I got up to date with my washing as torrential rain forecast for tomorrow.
It will be wall to wall golf in our house this weekend. My dh is a golf fanatic and probably won't move for the whole of the weekend. I don't mind, really want to get on with some crocheting.
dumpling I keep meaning to say. I've been buying the pink and whites from Asda with jam in. Currently only 50p and just 3 syns on slimming world. They really sort out my sweet tooth.
Have a great Friday xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon,
It's melting weather out there. Just come home and stood under a very cool shower - bliss!
I woke in the night and heard the distant rumbling but we only had a little shower this morning. I really hope we get a good one tonight to clear the air.
We were going to the caravan this weekend but they have a rally there and it would seem it is a very large one. so we will stay put.
Hope everyone has a good evening0 -
Redruby I hope you've managed to get some sustenance into Little Dog. Poor girl, was it the storm that upset her?
Bailey slept through, but Cassie came into our bedroom at 02:50 because the lightning was making the kitchen, where her bed is, as bright as day (Bailey likes to sleep on the front doormat so was protected from the flashes) and Thor was wielding his hammer with a vengeance. She did settle once I allowed her to lie beside the bed and put my arm out so that my hand was in contact with her.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hello all, back from a lovely stay with my little Zebra who is coming on in big leaps and loves 'walking' while being supported under his arms and now have a sore back from being bent over him, but entirely worth it!!! Journey back horrible, broken air con on the train and trolley service out of drinks so a relief to be here at home having had a nice cool bath and catching up while rehydrating. Lyn xxx.0
