And you have just helped the spammer by quoting his company's web address......

    Well done! :rotfl:
  • Hi, well said Peter, I can confirm most of what you are saying, is very true.

I am ,as of last week an ex employee, of The company Life COMFORT products.
By no means am I disgruntled, and I resigned on my own accord with good feedback from the company upon me leaving.

As for the comment 2 above, who's asking about trainers you numpty linda,
The people that buy the trainers from these big companies, don't go cold calling ppl to buy them, or lie about where they are from, not to mention pray on pre selected groups of people that they know need them.

I personally don't think you share a honest brain cell between you at life comfort.
You state you have worked for them for 7 years, well done you xx
You also state you "know" the chairs cost more than around 550 pounds ?
I can tell you after speaking directly to trading standards, whom I've been speaking to from the second week into my employment by the way, that for a fact they cost, wait for it...... about 550 quid, wayyyyyyyyyyyy.

Anyway that's irrelevant, so, as of last year I started working for this company.
After I applied for the position which was advertised for 750 a Week, and many other lies. I was invited in a training course in Peterborough, the training was fairly simple and our petrol was paid for attending along with the promise of 100 pounds for successfully learning a script before hand.
We were then taught the basics of how to canvass pre selected areas consisting of old people for demonstrations of rise recline chairs and adjustable beds, and we had to do this via cold calling.
The main man behind the company is ( sorry Geoff your useless ) Tim Clark, the man who could sell sand on a beach.
In Tims own words, they (old people) Are having a demonstration whether they know it or not.
After realising this approach was very pushy and seemed to solely target vulnerable coffin dodgers ,this is when I first had my doubts and contacted trading standards.
The weeks went on and more field training was given to our group of 5( of which only one will be left working for the company by the end of the month ).
Yes yes yes , we are and we're told to completely ignor signs and notes Telling people not to cold call or knock. Encouraged is a better way to describe it.
On many occasions the northern manager Donna Cooper told me " what signs " I haven't seen anything.
The same can be said for no cold calling areas where we are told to pretend we haven't noticed,
Another area that was only focused on after a former colleague left , is the fact we actually do go into these people's houses on occasion. Myself about 10 -15 times in 3 months.
Although they pretend this is not how they do things, after telling my manager Donna c I was having a cup of tea ( that rhymes ) in a house and actually sent her a picture of this, she laughed and commented on how I should get cake also.
Resigning from This company was the only way in my opinion.
They are currently in the process of being investigated by trading standards "again" and in my opinion should be avoided like the plague.
To put things into perspective, by the end of this month, there will be one person out of around 8 people still there, I've been with them 3 months
If you have morals, if you want to earn more than 240-300( realistically) a week and if you want to wake up with a clear conscience, knowing your not tying to con old people for a living, look else where.
Oh obviously the reviews for the products themselves are all over the internet, they claim there chairs are bespoke, trading standards fail to agree.
Similar chairs and beds are in massive retail shops for a fraction of this price.

Any question please feel free to email me directly, as I will be contacted every single lead I generated while working for the company myself :
  • Might be of use to some.....................
Google, "life comfort products court case" & read the first 2/3 answers............................
From personal experience I would recommend NEVER have anything to do with this company if they will be able to trade after the sentencing in January!!
  • I was supposed to have a demonstration at 1pm yesterday. No one turned up and no call to apologise. Looks like I might have had a lucky escape.

You did. A friend of mine just happened to be in the market for a new mattress when one of this company's reps turned up at his door. Foolishly he allowed himself to be conned by them into buying a mattress for £1400. It's a disgraceful piece of rubbish - after 6 months' use the contents of the mattress have separated such that he can slide his hand down into the 'crack' that's appeared. He's tried several times to ring them but no one answers the phone. Bunch of cowboys.
