CUBOT GT90 Manual?
Options
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has one of these phones and has managed to find a decent user manual (or could help out with the problems I am experiencing below)?
It is Dual SIM and I have a Vodafone SIM (for work) and a Three Sim (for personal use), and I can't get the phone to recognise both SIM Cards - it recognises the one in slot 1 whether Vodafone or Three, but not the other one in slot 2. Really driving me mad, and I've had no luck Googling a manual either or in getting any reply from the company itself.
Any pointers gratefully received.

Forgive me if this is too obvious: have you definitely got slot two's sim the right way round? I have a dual sim phone and slot one and slot two go in opposite ways up. It is possible to put them in wrong...0

Thanks for the suggestion. Have tried the SIMs opposite way round in both slots, but doesn't appear to be working0

The Three SIM Card needs to be in slot 1 otherwise it won't work. (This SIM slot is marked with a W)
The Voda SIM needs to be in slot 2 which is marked with a G
Make sure in settings that both SIM's are set to active.
Also make sure you select WCDMA/GSM in settings.0 -
Thanks for replying.
Have set up the phone with the cards in both slots, but no success.
Unfortunately with the phone I have, there isn't an option to set both SIMs to active - all I get inthe "Settings-SIM management" screen is the card in slot 1, with voice and messaging defaulting to this SIM. Have also tried a couple of other SIMs that we have in our house (O2 and another Vodafone), and no joy with these either.
I did check the Vodafone SIM in an old 2G phone to check that it works, which it did, so am assuming that the SIM is not the problem.
In addition, not sure where the WCDMA/GSM option would be - they are definitely not easy to find!!!
The frustrating thing is not being able to find a decent user guide - the manufacture has been less than helpful by not responding to any of my messages to them!!0 -
As it's Android, then it's something like
Settings >> Wireless & networks >> Mobile networks >> GSM/UMTS Network Preferences.0 -
Hi,
Have found the Mobile Networks and it is set to WCDMA/GSM. However, it still does not show the card that is in slot 2.
Just noticed as well when I switched on, the phone had a message "no SIM in slot 2". Have tried again swapping the SIMs around, but with the same result....!!0 -
I don't know about this phone, but for dual-sim phones it's common that the second sim works on 2g only. If so, 'swapping' doesn't make much sense as 'Three' sim is 3g only.
If both sims work in the first slot, I think it's time to contact the manufacturer or the supplier.0 -
The vodafone SIM does work on 2G - I tried it in an older handset and it still works. The supplier has also been in touch with me with a couple more suggestions, but I suspect that it may be a return job.0
