No Win No Fee v's Self representation

My husband was involved in a car accident earlier this year which caused a heart attacked. He has also been diagnosed with Post traumatic stress syndrome and it is unlikely he will be able to return to his job as a teacher. We are seeking compensation from the other side who have admitted liability (rear end shunt to my husbands vehicle) and they have paid out for writing-off the car. He is concerned about the high success fees of a "no win no fee" solicitor and we wondered about self representation or simply paying for a solicitor in the "traditional" way. Does anyone have any experience of these methods and what has been the outcome? Thanks Clare

Not the most appropriate forum for your query,this is the PPI board.
Try "Motoring"
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=70
Or the general insurance board;

Do remember that this is simply a discussion forum, so anyone offering free legal advice is only offering their opinion.0
