    Afternoon all,

Good luck and positive vibes for all those waiting for results or having tests.
Well back to normal for us. My brother and his family returned to Australia this morning, so will be up in the sky somewhere right now.
I've not stopped cleaning and washing since I got back from the airport. All the bedding is now dry and folded and the house has had a good clean through. Couldn't wait to get my house back to normal.
Then I dashed up to Mr T's for some essential bits but I shouldn't need to shop now until next weekend.
I'm exhausted so having five minutes for a coffee and my feet up.
No rest for the wicked though. My daughter and her chap are here for tea. So roast chicken with roasted veggies and salad, hopefully sat in the garden. It's been a gorgeous day.
It's going to be strange just the three of us, but nice and quiet.
lily plonk I admire you working in a CS and not being tempted. I'm addicted. I have to limit myself to one visit a fortnight.
So back to posting regularly on the daily, hope it haven't missed to much. Enjoy the sunshine, BFN x

Just popped on because I had an unexpected call from the GP surgery. My heart was in my throat, but the nurse said the scan has shown I have a small cyst on my right ovary and to book an appointment with GP to discuss what to do. I know finding a cyst isn't great news but I'm relieved it wasn't anything more scary. I will relax a bit more on my little break now :)

They also said to do a pregnancy test which would be really shocking news as DH had the snip nearly 15 years ago!

I've booked my GP appointment for 31st but I do actually have an appointment booked to see a different dr at the same surgery next Friday to get a scar treated, so I might ask him to go through the results with me if he has time.

Have a good day all - I braved the inferno of an attic for my fan and I'll try to keep cool tonight! X
  • dandy-candy, that must be much better news than you were thinking. Not perfect, but nothing sinister thank goodness.

    Onwards and upwards.

I have just finished watering the garden and I am melting, it is so hot out there.

I have picked a huge bowlful of mixed leaves for dinner tonight, DH's Aunt sent us up a couple of cucumbers so I will use one of them and I got some cherry tomatoes in Aldi today plus 3 good sized pieces of steak that had been reduced in Asda for £4 :j:jI will be doing that for dinner with some home grown charlotte potatoes and a nice ice cold bottle of black tower
    Nom,nom,nom:D

Candlelight I hope all went well at the boobie clinic

Marie good luck for tomorrow x

jlhmd666 Ours don't break up until next Wednesday.

DD wants to go for a walk so DS has just got the big scooter out for me.

They are all going swimming tonight so I will have a couple of hours to do what I want, that will include a shower, foot soak and a glass or two of wine ;)
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Lucky you :D

I cleaned out the washing machine today. I was shocked when I pulled out the detergent drawer - it was not a pretty sight  Anyway I stuck it on a hot wash whilst empty and that should do the job. All nice and clean again :)

JackieO - love the idea of the '5 bob' yellow wax beans :rotfl:. Is this site of any use to you :D.

Thanks L/P I have bookmarked it and will go through some of the recipes .I think its the name that puts folk off but they look quite nice,I may make a mixed bean salad as the weather is so warm I boiled a couple of eggs this morning to make some egg mayo which I love ( I seem to have a bit of a glut of eggs) as eldest DD has been at her caravan the past couple of weekends so no Sunday morning 'strangled eggs' for her.
By jiminy it was a warm one today and going to be even hotter tomorrow !!!. I'm so glad I got all the ironing done and dusted Good read in a comfy chair in the garden for me I think:rotfl:
    Have a good evening chums

Candlelight hope your results come back clear. I had my first mammogram a couple of months ago. If my boobs weren't sagging before, they do now but at least the results came back clear. I hope yours do the same.

Dandy-Candy glad your scan revealed nothing more than a cyst. So pleased for you.

    Hi everyone,

We're off to the Wirral today, DH is going to the Open tomorrow. .

    Have a good day.

Leave plenty of time to get to the venue. Traffic was solid when I came home from the school run at 9:15 am this morning. Two lanes of motorway going into one small road......

    Dandy candy,

I had a small cyst a few months ago. GP and consultant just suggested monitoring, low and behold when I went back a few months later for a follow up scan it had dissipated itself:) they said when your are about to release an egg a cluster can form which often looks like a small cyst but disappears with your next cycle.
She also told me I was still very fertile:eek:, I was sterilised a good 16 yrs ago, four kids is enough for anyone.
Just cleared up from dinner in the garden and dropped DD and her boyfriend back at the tram.
We have promised to help them move next Saturday, hubby and bf will do all the heavy lifting and we shall unpack at the other end. She's very excited and ready to have her own place after camping in her bf one bedroom apartment the last few weeks.
Right pj time and a foot rub night night x
