THE OFFER
Business Class
Receive a 20% discount for reservations made between 1st May 2007 - 31st August 2007. Cardholders must travel between 1st July 2007 - 31 August 2007.
Economy Class
Receive a 50% discount for reservations made between 1st May 2007 - 31st August 2007. Cardholders must travel between 1st November 2007 - 14th December 2007 and 25th December 2007 - 20th March 2008.
HOW TO USE
To book please call American Airlines on 0845 7789 789. To obtain your discount please quote MCPLUS for the Business Class offer or MCXTRA for the Economy Class offer.
UK Lines open 7 days a week 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Terms and conditions
  1. Offer only valid when booking through American Airlines direct by calling the number provided.
  2. Offer only valid when purchased with your MasterCard.
  3. Business Class offer: Offer valid for reservations made between 1st May 2007 - 31st August 2007. Cardholders must travel between 1st July 2007 - 31 August 2007. Economy Class offer: Offer valid for reservations made between 1st May 2007 - 31st August 2007. Cardholders must travel period 1st November 2007 - 14th December 2007 and 25th December 2007 - 20th March 2008.
  4. Business Class offer: The passenger is entitled to a 20% discount off flights booked within J,D,I inventory. Economy Class offer: The passenger is entitled to a 50% discount off flights booked within all economy inventories with the exception of "O" class.
  5. This offer cannot be resold to a third party.
  6. Travel on connecting flight within North America is in the class of service purchased.
  7. The offer is subject to availability at time of booking and the offer is conditional of seats allocated in the appropriate cabin.
  8. In the event of a cancellation or off schedule operation, American Airlines will attempt to honour the discount on another American Airlines flight. Accommodation on another carrier will be in the class of service purchased on your ticket.
  9. Pre-seating offered subject to availability. Any special dietary requirements should be specified at the time of booking. Tickets are only valid on the flights booked. AAdvantage mileage will accrue for the class of service on which the fare is based when you are ticketed, not for the class of service flown.
  10. All participants should take out adequate travel insurance, a valid passport and any necessary visas or other required documentation to comply with travel and US immigration regulations
  11. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other flight promotion.
  12. American Airlines published Conditions of Contract for Carriage shall apply to all carriage by air pursuant to this promotion and shall prevail in the event of inconsistency or conflict with the terms of this promotion, copies of which are available from any American Airlines office.
  13. American Airlines shall not be liable for any failure that is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, supervening legislation or any other circumstances relating to Force Majeure.
  14. By taking up this offer participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. Cardholders should keep a copy of the terms and conditions for reference.

    The most important point is that it's 50% off + taxes. Still can be a good saving, but not as it first seems.

    its a con anyway, just called to find their flight booked over the phone are twice as dear so with discount it is £600 for 2 when i can book online for £440

    just booked LHR to JFK 06/12 to 10/12 £369 all in for 2. I had to hold the reservation online, call them on the 0207 number and tell them i worked for the OFT and that their t&c's were in breach. got the £440 flight down to £369 - bit of a bargain.

    AA will only allow telephone bookings in the mcard deal they said, when i reserved online and called to pay and quote the code, i was given x price then i quibbled because the taxes were increased. i was then told i couldnt have the discount because the reservation wasnt made over the phone. the t&c's did not state this, and my reserving online and telephoning met their requirements, i argued this and although they didnt agree, i got some shaved off.
