Pregnant- going to lose holiday deposit?????

Hi, I need some advice please. I have booked a holiday for May 2015 and paid a £600 deposit.
I just found out after years of trying that I'm pregnant and obviously don't want to take a 6 week old baby abroad. If I cancel I will lose the deposit?
I don't mind altering the holiday, but believe in i,d lose the deposit anyway.
Any advice or suggestions appreciated as this is obviously a lot of money to lose with a baby on the way.
Thanks in advance.

Some insurance policies include pregnancy/babies, possibly worth having a thorough read of the policy.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Yes and some policies may include the infant being too young at the date of travel.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
It might be possible to switch the deposit without penalty to a later holiday with the same operator. We did this many years ago with Airtours when my wife became pregnant months after booking. We didn't have to claim on insurance, but just rebooked. The Travel Agent (Going Places, I seem to remember) was excellent.
Your circumstances are different, of course, as the baby will hopefully have been born and you would technically be in a position to fly, but the tour operator might be able to help.0 -
Why ask the question then not even acknowledge a single answer in over three days?0
