Where do I start? Mutt (now deceased) and Gitdog have many threads on the forum devoted to their misdeeds. All part of the fun of bull terrier ownership, I seem to spend large parts of my life either apologising or hastily running in the opposite direction.

At our old house our cat bought back a small pet rabbit, luckily he was physically unharmed and reunited with his owner and survived the shock of the ordeal.

Unfortunately, our first cat caught and ate our neighbours rabbit. The rabbit was normally in it's hutch at night but not that night, whilst our cat who was also normally in at night failed to come in that evening. Five o'clock the next morning she's spotted with the rabbit by my neighbour. They were very good about it :o

Max jumped up to the dining room table, and grabbed bro in law's just cooked massive steak, and ran out to the back garden - where we were all admiring the newly laid decking. He showed off his catch, and managed to dodge us for long enough to eat the entire thing. He's only a cavilier king charles - so barely moved for 2 days after his feast.

On another occasion, dad in law was painting, and had the paint tray on the floor in the hall. Max walked through it, and when we tried to catch him, he thought it was a game and ran around the house, going through the paint tray several more times, covering the lovely wooden floors, rugs, leather sofa and 2 beds with white, painty foot prints.

Oddly enough, my naughty dog is still a popular visiter to their home.

This thread makes our dogs look like angels...

We do have a dog who decided to walk right past a freshly painted wall. The dog is dark brown and the paint was waterproof and a very pale grey.

I'm sure the puppy has tried to escape next door at least once.

My first cat, Bruno, was expert at getting cooked meat - he came back with burgers, steaks, chicken breasts, you name it, he stole it, but never from us. All of my cats have had the embarrassing habit of plonking themselves down in front of house guests for a good, long, noisy bum-licking session. Usually while we're eating.

One of mutt's funnier moments (to me, anyway) was when mum fell asleep with her dental plate on her lap. She'd taken it off for a moment then nodded off. Unfortunately she'd been eating mints just prior to taking the teeth out.
She woke up to a crunching noise, just in time to see mutt legging it out of the room with a couple of white teeth sticking out of the side of her gob. I came in just as mum was chasing mutt round the house trying to get her to drop the bits.
Mum said trying to explain what had happened to the dental receptionist to get an quick appointment was one of her more mortifying moments.

And on the naughty front, seatbelt anyone?

I had a springer spaniel years ago. He would wander along behind me in summer and small children eating ice-cream cones would run up and fawn all over him. He developed quite the knack of gently lifting the ice-creams off the cones and downing them in one. No-one would notice - it was a real sleight of hand thing. He would then continue gently ambling on, leaving a trail of bemused children with quivering lips in his wake.

I got used to the sound of irate parents yelling at their kids behind me as I walked along the street...:o

I also had a gift from my young cats the other day - two beautiful fragrant yellow roses, complete with a little stem on each. I recognized them as coming from my neighbour's garden. My initial reaction was to hope that they managed to pull the flowers off quite cleanly, but when I went to have a look, there was an entire rose bush shredded all over the lawn. Lovely smell in the air, but carnage on the ground :o. I wasn't sure if I should offer her the only remaining two flowers back? I elected not to in the end...:o
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

One of our dogs, after one died, would terrorise the garden. We then got another dog for company. This other dog decided that he was going to lead the other dog astray...

And then there's the dogs who take a paddle in the pond...

Oh these are fun please keep them coming.
I only remember my mum getting in a row with the milkman who came for his money and swore she was in but not answering the door - no it was Charlie the parrot that he heard (and mum used to leave the radio on for him when she was out).
Dad would get in trouble too when weeding the front garden and Charlie wolf whistled at any ladies walking past (he was in the garden too).
    xx
