no win no fee solicitor for miss selling

  • some have said we do have a case as we were not given information that they knew about and we should have been informed but i cant find a no win no fee solicitor for property disputes, my house insurance should do it as i have legal cover checking this next

    I think it's come up on here before, but unless you specifically ask most solicitors don't do searches of approved planning permission in the local area. Did you ever ask what the land would be used for?

    We have land behind our house (that we couldn't see at the time due to a very overgrown garden with tall conifers) that is empty. When we bought our house our solicitors didn't mention it at all. We later found out it had planning permission for a few houses, but thankfully had had it turned down for a larger development of flats and houses. It's since had planning permission approved for a nursery, a different combination of small houses, a small supermarket and a GPs practice. None of those things have been built, and our neighbours who've been here for 20 years say that they reckon there's been something every year since they moved in. Obviously whoever owns that land has never managed to get something approved that is valuable enough to them. But if the PP that had been approved just before we moved in had come to fruition I don't think we would have had any recall against the solicitor. But it has taught me for future houses purchases to check local planning permission first (very easy to do online).
