Just goes to show that there are at least some residents who can manage to keep the bins tidy on the street when there's nowhere else for them to goGather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
I used to live in a 'pavement' terrace that didn't have a wheelie bin - there was nowhere to store it at the front and no easy access to the back of the house. We were given blue bags by the Council (we would get the rolls through the door every few months) and we were allowed to put two a week out. The full bags had to be stored in our shed between collections, and carried through the house each week. I never thought I'd miss a wheelie bin, but I did!0
