Small Dent on bumper of new car.

Hello,

I came back to my car to find a small circular dent, I have tried to remove the dent myself but haven't been able to. Can anyone give advice on the best/most cost efficient way of getting this repaired?

Thanks very much.

    Picture or it didn't happen.
Perhaps a smart repair may do it, but we cannot know as only you have seen the actual damage.
  • I did try to upload a link to a picture of it in my first post but it wouldn't allow me as I'm a new user.

Upload it to an image hosting service and then post a link to the image.

If it doesn't let you post a link, just post it without the http://www.

Any SMART repairer like Dent Wizard, Dent Devils, Chips Away, etc etc will have a look and quote for it. If it's that small, it may probably not be worth bothering with in the long run though.

Take it to a car body shop, have the whole bumper off, smoothed, re spray and re fitted :)

^^This. get a local paintless dent removal to have a look. Could be fixed for around £70.

if its a very small dent i would leave it, a bad smart repair can make it look 10x as worse

Maybe, but if a repairer came and made my car worse having promised to make it better, I would be complaining until they sorted the situation.

Again, if the repair can be removed via PDR then there's no issue.
