POPLA appeal stage parkingeye

I copied the template letter and sent it to parking eye who have of course rejected it and gone to appeal.

What are my appeal options? Is there a Standard letter i can appeal with, I've looked through the sticky board and find it confusing which one applies to me.

I was drunk at a wedding someone drove my car (don't remember who, I was really drunk) and parked it a liverpool car park and did not cover the sufficient time with a ticket.

What's my defence?

I don't live nearby so I can't get photos etc of the carpark

If you sent the template letter in the newbie thread, then you should know where to go to find the next template. Yes you've guessed it, the Newbie thread. The magic blue words " How to win at POPLA" will reveal all. There are 3 good Parking Eye templates there.

Alter one slightly for your own situation and post it here.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.

And please gemlouj do not hijack someone else's thread. One problem per thread is the general rule of thumb.

At the top left hand side is a blue button that says new thread. Click on that to make your own request for help.
Just below that is the newbies thread which you should read before you post your own thread for help. You may not need it. All information is in post 3 for POPLA if you are indeed at POPLA stage. You may be at first stage appeal. But confirm in your own thread please.
