Telling them you don't like it will probably make no difference (almost certainly will not if you use free web entry), the revenue raised from the competition is what counts.
Indeed, it's the revenue that counts.
But there's no harm in dropping them a line to give them a clear indication of why they received a drop in revenue for this competition, should that happen.
I'm sure there will be hundreds, if not thousands, who don't find the live TV element of this competition appealing and will give this week's competition a miss. That would likely translate to many thousands of pounds.
Even if those people enter online, the revenue from advertisers on their site is surely similar to the revenue they receive from calls/texts, otherwise offering free entry online wouldn't be viable.
Either way, I thought it worthwhile making it clear to them why I (and perhaps many others) would not be entering this week's competition or any future competitions that require the live TV reveal.
And hopefully if they notice a resulting drop in revenue they will take the feedback on board.0 -

The web revenue is almost nothing but they have to offer a free entry route (web or postal).
I suspect that most viewers who normally enter by phone/text will either not be put off or will not realise what may happen - it may even attract entries from those who like the idea of being on tv (and the odds are at least 10 times better on this one than their usual ones).0 -

Congratulations. You've proven that I've wasted my time in emailing them. Is that what you want me to say?
All I did was suggest that anybody unhappy with the live TV element drop them a line in the hope that it might have some influence.
But you're right. It was a complete waste of time. You can move on and pick apart other people's contributions to this site now. I've conceded.0 -

Not at all, but if it wasn't mentioned that web entry raises nothing compared to Phone/Text you wouldn't know and that was relevant to this point you raisedEven if those people enter online, the revenue from advertisers on their site is surely similar to the revenue they receive from calls/texts, otherwise offering free entry online wouldn't be viable
(Be nice if it was, that would be a win win with no cost to enter and them still making money)0 -
I actually do watch GMB and wasn't going to enter 'cause I didn't fancy a TV crew turning up on my doorstep, especially with an annoyingly cheerful presenter in tow (I don't do cheerful in the mornings), but now that I know my chances are increased because so many people aren't entering, I might just give it a go.“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” - Dr Seuss0

The big increase to your chances comes from there being a mixture of ten smaller prizes instead of one large one.0 -
Just wondering if anyone has had a call from them?0

Not yet but here's hoping0

Fortunately there's no threat of a TV crew turning up in the T&Cs of next week's £30K competition.0
