Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
Just got off the phone with Diamond and they've given me a quote that they will honour for 30 days that will increase my premium by £116!

If they are not allowed to use sex to discriminate why did my daughters quotes come back cheaper with my sister as a named driver and not me?
Sister has had claims also where i have not. She is 2 years younger.

Adding my mum as a named driver made it cheaper than adding my dad also. No claims for either. Mum is younger (slightly).

You'd need to compare all elements and not just age and gender. You also have a different relationship parent -v- aunt/uncle

I didnt test every different option. But adding nan instead of grandad made it cheaper. Even though grandad is a couple of months older and held his licence a lot longer.

Parent / Aunt. Not sure on that. I should have tried mother / father with the same dates for everything. Maybe next time. I already deleted about 200 emails with the quotes listed.

I pitty the person that builds a house at the end of my street. They are going to get tons of car insurance letters.
Silly people have not removed the address from the databases so still shows as a residence.

  • I passed my test two years ago and I was with Diamond as a learner and still with them and still have my OH on there as it brings down the price of my insurance.

It really helps me, without him on it I was looking at over a grand for provisional insurance. With Diamond I pay £701 which will go up to £817 if I pass my test in the next 30 days.

That sounds very reasonable to me.
