as i said your installer will advise you on the correct flue to buy, a standard flue might not be the correct one due to the regs

    Ok thanks i'll ask again.

A recent boiler quote has included a Honeywell cm927 unit. I have no experience of this, but after doing some online research, it seems to have good reviews.

Yes, I would separate the electrical install from the gas fitter, the electrics need certifying in there own right (probably), and the GS guy is unlikely to be best fixed to do this although he can fix up to an existing spur point or socket.

Incidentally I went for the standard digital programmer from the manf for my boiler rather than the wireless gubbings as I too didn't need gongs and bells. Read into it what you will but the 1st timer never worked so at least it's replacement was carried out by GW at their expence.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

With regards to the wireless Honeywell controller most are OK, Any one would do providing it's compatible with your boiler, the Vacation ( Holiday mode ) can be useful for nights away from your home.
