Opt out of Vodafone WorldTraveller?

We're off to the US soon and will probably have to use our mobiles at some point. Vodafone 'WorldTraveller' gives us our UK plan for £5 a day.
However, we want to be able to actively opt out of this service - it's not enough to just not use the phone in order to avoid the charge. Despite scouring the Vodafone website and Googling the problem, I can't find out how to do this.
Can anyone here help? Do we just text STOP to the same number that we texted ADD to start the service?

Knew I'd find the answer the minute after I posted this!
For anyone else struggling to stop Vodafone WorldTraveller, the answer (apparently) is to text REMOVE to 40506.
I will report back if this is not the case...0 -
Also, remember to turn data roaming off on the handset as there plenty of apps, like email, that will poll the internet in the background without you knowing it.
I thought that with WorldTraveller you had to actually use the internet to actually get the allowance? That's how it worked for me when I went to France. If you didn't use it you didn't get charged that day??0 -
Hi ChaletGirl,
I've just checked this and can confirm that the code you need to send the REMOVE request to is 40508.
If the information you've quoted came from our website, please post a link to the page so I can get it amended.
Kind regards,
Lee
