POLL on Click to Win comps - adding to main board or not?

In my little own world, my ideal forum would have everything separated; Facebook, twitter, blogs, etc. Even that way, I'm pretty sure problems would occur though
Can't make everyone happy unfortunately:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I know what you mean about not pleasing everyone - it's completely impossible. I wouldn't like different sections for different types of comps and believe that if you start separating comps off where you'd draw the lines would get too blurry. I can see the pluses though don't get me wrong.
I think as my comping habits have developed I do support the idea of all comps being listed on the main board as it keeps everything in one place and everything is listed and clear.
Also if the C2W's were listed I'd never have to go off the main board (see completely selfish motives!)
P.S. Apologies for not quoting your posts (and therefore not directly replying) Bluebella and Jaibaby - at some point I knew how to multiquote but I seem to have lost the ability.0 -
I found it stupid how someone posts the exact same comp for 7/8 mags or whatever it is, why not post 1 then in the post title put for example ''click to win - hard drive'' & 7 links etc.
Ditto with same comps but with different regional points of entry.
Why not something like
E: 01/01 Win bridal jewellery (regional) and then put the different links in the one post?
Sometimes you can skip three or four whole pages at a time because of blocks of regional variations of the same comp.
I appreciate the comps being posted, I truly do, but it could be more efficient imo.
Oh and I voted no in the poll. If people using the site read the board guide/rules they would know about the C2W / mag dailies and they shouldn't be clogging up the main board.
I think once people know about the C2W/Mags they tend to work from their own bookmarks anyway and enter anything they fancy once they get to the specific site.
I've become a bit of a skim reader because the mag dailies are very clearly marked (many thanks) and easily skippable, but I have changed in that I no longer use the 'crosses' on everything, only to mark what point I am up to when I go offline.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
A big NO from me too. I serioulsy cannot understand why people do not just bookmark sites, it's simplicity itself.Thank you all who post.0

Yes it would be a huge task to post them but if someone wants to take it on why not?
Preparing the first one now, not strictly by the posting guidelines but hopefully it will do.0 -

Especially one that will swim against the flow.
For any pedants that are watching my reply to mjm's post was very much TIC.
I think the vote reflects the feeling of the board.0 -

If the post gets to stay there should be almost no excuse for not knowing they exist and where to find them. (I think I probably spent too long in the sun today:))
Most new members cannot even read the comping guide & will not format threads in the usual way.
Some even say that MSE comps is hard to navigate.I ask you:D
PS: Do you want to borrow a Laydee's parasol0
