POLL on Click to Win comps - adding to main board or not?

Vote YES if you want to see every prize posted

Vote NO if you don't want to start seeing these added to the main board

Given that these change so regularly, and there are so many of them, I think it would be a very bad idea indeed.

Also, surely, anyone who does the click to wins doesn't actually bookmark each comp separately for daily entry. I imagine most do as I do, which is to bookmark the main page (i.e. THIS) and then open the comps they want to enter via a middle mouse click, and then enter them all. That way, having a list of them all is superflous, as it already exists.

All we really need is an up-to-date thread in the 'Regular Competitions' section, which has the links to all of the main pages.

Anyway, thats my two cents.

I agree, CrackEdd... If I'm going to enter one I might as well keep clicking the 'next giveaway' button and enter all the ones I'm interested in on that site

Same here, there are far too many and they change too often. I just click on one site each day on the list and enter all that I'm interested in. Not enough hours to do every site every day.

It would be a massive task for someone to post these individually on the main boards and not necessary.

No for me... I appreciate all the hard work that is put in as it is on this great site by all the hard working people but I feel this will clog up the main board even further.

FWIW I keep all the CTW in links in my folders, I know they are there and (IF) I ever find the time time I enter them ad hoc.

This is not hard to learn or memorize IMO, the prizes are good and I have won big on them but there are now 69 (SIXTY NINE) CTW site links in my folders which have anything from one prize up to 24 pages of prizes so say 8 or 9 x 24 = around 200 CTW comps on one link... :eek: when I enter the ones I like - and trust me it is not even half of them, it still takes me about 2.5 HOURS (albeit alongside a few mag dailies)! Just thinking that these could be added to the main board individually would be madness... of course this is just my opinion.

Huge resounding NO from me and I welcome the opportunity to thank all the posters of comps without whom we'd all be a lot busier finding them for ourselves!
I keep CTW pages in a folder where they are always up to date - If I can manage this then anyone can.

I don't know who suggested the posting of CTWs on the main board but I'd seriously question their motivation especially given the reappearance of a certain previously banned poster on the CC forum. I expect this post to be reported to knock yourself out!

I don't really see why you should be reported for what you have said. You have worded it discreetly, and it's certainly far more mature than some of the posts in this thread!

Voted NO of it was EVERY DAY. What about a compromise and list once when a new one is added perhaps?

E.g. E: date. DAILY CTW laptop (new comp)

Or something like that.

Would alert folk there is something new but not clutter up the boards on a daily basis adding every single comp that's already there...
