Find the email address of the CEO and email them. That usually will result in a call back from someone who actually knows what they're talking about and will actually help sort the issue.
The web help team are pretty good, to be fair, let's see if the OP can get a decent resolution from them. If not, I have the CEO's email address0 -
Hi All,
I'm looking into apply for the mortgage for the first time but even before I started I came across a problem called 'Vodafone'... just checked my credit score and it is saying my Vodafone account from 2007 is in default. Long story short..just before the contract run it's course Vodafone contacted me asking if I'd like to renew, I said no, paid my last bill and thought that's the end of it....I had no 'usual' letters demanding payment or threatening with court action, no communication whatsoever... Rang customer service few minutes ago to sort it out but they are not even able to find my details... I don't have my old mobile number or account number but surely they should be able to find me using my name & address...
Did anyone else have similar experiences with Vodafone??
Any help will be much appreciated.0 -

First of all a debt from 2007 should have dropped off your credit report by now as it will be statute barred after 6 years
Secondly, contracts do not run out they just reach minimum term and then become a rolling monthly contract. Unless you cancel they will just carry on.
The fact you chose not to upgrade means nothing unless you cancel the contract at the same timeIt's not just about the money0 -

Thanks everyone for your help, I sent the CEO a 7 page email yesterday outlining all the problems I've had (yes there have been that many that I needed 7 pages just to outline them!)
Anyway I got a call back today and the women was very helpful, very apologetic and has assured me that she would credit my account within 7-10 days (hopefully it will actually be credited this time.)
She also assured me that she would follow up disciplinary action with the managers that were incredibly rude to me on the phone, hopefully this will be the end of all the issues I've had with Vodafone now.0 -

I'm starting to think Vodafone has had a bigger hack than TalkTalk and their software is corrupted because everything that is said to be actioned isnt happening, they cant have that much inept staff... its all rather fishy...SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0
