Why are CTWs appearing on the main board - ARRGGGHH!

Perhaps it would be better to be grateful at how much F**F is willing to post for us. We seem happy to jump on the fact that she's posted a few CTWs, but forget to show gratitude for how much she posts on the Comps forum...

Flabberghasted at how certain regs, yes bluebella, you knew the issues it caused before xmas but you yet again stir it up and have alluded to me over the mag daily fiasco, bringing it up again or hinting at it, the people that started this last night including firefly are the root of the issue as they knew it would kick off and i am gobsmacked at how people are saying she was only helping, yet when i posted 2 mag dailies, just the big value comps i had 30 odd people giving me grief.

double standards yet again, shows how awful mse has become.

Now i'll go back to my blissful ignorance and not have the life sucked out of me by forum politics.

Have only just come to this thread, so apologies if I've missed anything.

Over the last few weeks I've seen a few of the click to win prizes in Facebook posts from a couple of the magazines, and only when you click on them does it become obvious it's a click to win and not a standard competition...

I don't remember being one of those "30 odd people"? Since I arrived on MSE, dailies have always been posted on the main board...? :undecided

I think it's a bit unfair to quote my posts, as I was merely stating my point of view. None of my posts here were meant to get at you (or anyone else for that matter!) - I'm still not entirely sure what the whole mags daily debate you were involved with was... I probably knew at the time, if it was since I joined in mid-December (I never bothered to look at CCC when I was just entering the comps), but I can't remember now So even if I'd wanted to be getting at you, Toniq, I'd be hard pushed to use whatever that was as the reason. :rotfl:

They're also putting them in the magazines - Chat had one that looked like a normal comp, only for entry online rather than through the usual Chat puzzles entry form. I looked it up, and it was a CTW... I suppose the mags don't delineate them in the same way we do...

I wasn't the root of the issue,
the root of the issue was CTW's were being posted on the board, some a few weeks ago/months ago & then yesterday,
it was replied on again that they were already in regs & I replied the same with the link to dailies mags CTW comps,
if you read the threads properly you'll see that & that a couple had agreed to them being posted with a certain format for them,
as the CTW's had already been posted & i'd replied
it was looking at that time some wanted them posted & some didn't,
i also asked if a new poll should/could be posted to see what members thought & if the census had changed from the last debate over them where members had said they didn't want them posted,
as the debate wasn't getting anywhere except the same replies about they're already in regs/etc & some wanted them posted i went ahead & posted a few of them to see if other peeps would be interested in having them on main,
which was trying to help the ones who wanted them posted,
the resounding ending from the threads created after i'd posted them/posts made after/comments after was NO,
they don't want them posted on main which was what i'd posted in the first place.

Then you have sycophantic comments yet when I posted the few daily mags which were worth thousands you as well as many ripped into me.

You knew it should have been run past a bg or put on here before it was done.

Furthermore, the few comps posted by f**f are but a tiny fraction of what is out there on the plethora of C2W sites (presently 80+ sites and no doubt even more to come!! :eek:)

To get back to the poll - either this is sufficient evidence of forum user's view on whether or not the C2Ws should be posted as individual comps or.......not! :eek: :cool:

sorry, your post is incorrect,
as for being run past a BG i contacted one a few months ago about them, if you look through the postings of the CTW's from then you'll see that,
as we're not allowed/it's against the rules to post/copy pm's
i can't post the reply,

yes, we're all allowed an opinion which is a good thing
& all helps to clear things up when they get misconstrued.
