Why are CTWs appearing on the main board - ARRGGGHH!

Compers flounce ? Really ?

I keep away from the chat side here because I've endured too many flouncers on various comping groups over the years (but also met many fab people too) and my comping time is too limited nowadays to flounce dodge (and my tolerance levels lower )

I think it's daft -as someone else said it'll be spam city otherwise and if a poll goes up I'm hopping over and voting.

And that's exactly why I avoid the "social" side of the comping board. <eyeroll>

Was that aimed at me? I am pretty genuine on here, in what I say. No one has to agree with me, but veiled comments aren't all that constructive either. I'd rather you told me what you are hinting at, or don't say anything at all.

Anyway...

I wonder if there should be a link to the poll on the main board somewhere, for those who don't visit Flounce Corner...?

not you specifically. but i have come to realise that whatever is said [veiled or not], those concerned are so thick skinned or disturbed that it really is a waste of time

No for me... I appreciate all the hard work that is put in as it is on this great site by all the hard working people but I feel this will clog up the main board even further.

FWIW I keep all the CTW in links in my folders, I know they are there and (IF) I ever find the time I enter them ad hoc.

This is not hard to learn or memorize IMO, the prizes are good and I have won big on them but there are now 69 (SIXTY NINE) CTW site links in my folders which have anything from one prize up to 24 pages of prizes so say 8 or 9 x 24 = around 200 CTW comps on one link... :eek: when I enter the ones I like - and trust me it is not even half of them, it still takes me about 2.5 HOURS (albeit) alongside a few mag dailies!

Just thinking that these could be added to the main board individually would be madness... of course this is just my opinion.
