mil is being transfered today to the hospital that is doing her op and it WILL go ahead tomorrow morning. after i spoke to the oncologist nurse she and the surgeon got in touch wit h the hospital shes in now and had a couple of heart tests done to confirm she is as fit and well as poss for the surgery. results have come back ok so its all happening. obviously still a scary thought and a big op but at least all her health issues are now being addressed and after all this she should be much better and hopefully happier. i know she will need a lot more help while she is convalescing but i can cope with that. Dr has told us she will be kept in till at least after the weekend so another thing less to worry about.
thank you all for your kind thoughts and supporting words they really have helped.

Morning all
Appropriate vibes to all, particularly for Lamewolf, Bossy's Mum and Mrs MoneyPenny's mil.
Ran round like an idiot yesterday and got the whole house tided and downstairs vaccumed through. Workmen came did the jobs and I spent my time writing my DIY list out properly and a check list in order of what needs doing in the livingroom. I've set a deadline of 4th August to get the livingroom done (Can't start until 28th due to work stuff) as I'll have a delivery on the 6th for work and will need the 5th to get the place back to 'normal', 6th/7th/8th will be work. Then week beginning 11th August will be kitchen & bathroom (neither will take too long in theory) and will probably be mostly spent waiting for paint to dry hence doing both roomsWeek beginning 18th will be DD's bedroom, week beginning 25th will be mine (and hopefully I'll have made up my mind by then what I want to do in there :rotfl:) and when DD goes back to school on the 1st Sept I'll do the hallway and anywhere else I need to finish off. Hopefully I can speed that timetable up with DDs help and be done before the end of August
Monday

Morning all, thank you for all the well done's lol.
Had a rubbish sleep last night but hopefully tonight will be better. Far too many late nights and late starts.
Need to get everyone up and then get tip run done, drop some stuff at charity shop and collect paint for the charity I help and drop it off. Then it's home to sort the car and OH needs to collect tent today or I will just go and do it mself. Loads more stuff to get washed and ebayed today and hopefully this evening i'll get the gumtree stuff sorted into sizes and hopefully some of it put up.

Dot is being awful again this morning.. I am pretty much at the end of my patience with her already today.. she is being really nasty with pixie and making mess and running away with things she shouldn't have and swinging on laptops.. we have tried giving her attention and it appears to have made her worse after she had finished screaming she didn't want us and we were to go away.. She had hysteria in the car because she didn't want to go in her car seat and then threw a wobbly in the shop.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

think ive worn the new(ish) hedge trimmer out, it started going slow then stopped it was like the battery was running down but its leccy! tried it with and with out the extention lead and the circuit breaker incase it was either of those causing the problem but it doesnt want to play. im going to leave it for HH in case it just needs a rest then try again. if not will have to confess to DH i couldnt wiat for him to do it tonight so now he needs to have a look see whats wrong instead of trimming. going to run the dyson round now while i wait.SPC~12 ot 124
