I am looking to get Sky Sports in my bedroom, but I only have a freeview TV and a Playstation 4 here at the moment.
Whats the cheapest way of getting it? We already have Virgin Media in the house downstairs but adding the Sky Sports onto that would probably cost a lot more per month and it would mean I would have top get a box in my room.
I'm not sure how much this option would cost so if anyone has any insight that would be much appreciated!

YOu can subscribe to Sky Go as a standalone which you could then use to watch on your laptop/iPad. It would be £35/month for the package including the Sports channels:The Family Bundle + Sky Sports
All six Sky Sports channels including Sky Sports F1®, plus five entertainment channels live on your smartphone or tablet
Over 20 live entertainment channels and TV on demand on your laptop
£35 a month

Or you could add SKy Sports to the existing Virgin Media package and then use Virgin TV Anywhere to watch it on a laptop in your room.

I think you should ring Virgin and ask what the best deal they can do is, and likewise with Sky, because the online prices are often negotiable anyway.
Virgin might do a good deal on a second box with Sky Sports if that's what you really want.0 -
A second Virgin box (multi-room) costs £11 a month and duplicates all services available on the main subscription. I think the most versatile option would be to subscribe to Sky Sports and Multi-room.YOu can subscribe to Sky Go as a standalone which you could then use to watch on your laptop/iPad. Use a 1/2 price sky for 12 months code. Vouchercode had one that expires on the 17th of this month and have the them run the cable into your bedroom. That way you'll have sky sports for around £24 pm minus the value of any signup vouchers sky gives like the £100 mastercard/top cashback/ refer a friend etc.0 -
