    Congrats!
I always wondered how much a high-value (and brand new) item like a watch would make after you win it from a competition. Mark up is massive that's for sure, but it's like buying a brand new car - as soon as you leave the salon, as soon it drop hugely in value.

I remember someone on this board who won a car from ITV and sold it: car value was around £19000, I think he sold it for 11k :)
2014 Wins: a personalised razor, 1x Cushelle Koala :), Sony micro Bluetooth earphones, Tastecard for 2 months....

...Good luck to all! :-) Thumbs up and Thanks to all those posting comps on MSE and beyond!! :T

That's really good to hear, and I hope your new chair gives you some mobility back. That's the lovely thing about comping, it gives you a chance to win things that can change your life, either through the prize itself, or what it can enable you to do. Congratulations again!
    2015 comp wins - £370.25

Be aware that if he gets £1500 for it, then £250 of that will be VAT, so £1000 cash is a good and fair result. Well done.

Lovely to hear you managed to sort it out. Hope you can afford the chair very soon - I guess it's quite an expense :(
